A massive storm hits a sleepy town, taking only one life and forever changing a trio of inseparable friends who exist on the fringes of their community. Janey is gone; all that remains of her are other people's memories and stories, and her journal. Parker and August are pitted against each other in their grief, while competing stories about a dead girl abound. In woven moments that superimpose the dead, living, fact, and fiction, they must figure out what it means to know Janey in her absence and each other in their pain. Written and directed by Bryce Gastelum, with Bella Witt, Jonathan Dimacali, Mercer Sadlier, and Alice Drummond. A one-night-only staged reading in Emerging Artists Theatre's SPARK festival. About 1 hour 15 minutes.
